The David Thompson Resort is a full-service family facility that features a hotel, cabins and a campground, surrounded by stunning mountain scenery. Guests can also rent modern, fully-equipped RVs that are permanently parked in the campground. Guests enjoy the Rocket Playground, volleyball, horse shoes and mini-golf facilities. An antique shop, convenience store, gas station, laundromat and all services are available on site. All camping sites are pull through and feature fire pits, picnic tables and treed lots. Available sites: unserviced, powered, and full service. In addition, there are showers, washrooms, firewood, laundry and more.
Centennial Park Campground
Centennial Park in Rocky Mountain House offers in-town camping with shower facilities, flush toilets, picnic tables, fire rings and fire wood. The campground opens for the summer on the May long weekend and features a handful of sites with powers as well as 10 un-serviced sites.
Riverview Campground
Riverview Campground is situated along the North Saskatchewan River, five km (three mi) west of Rocky Mountain House on Highway 11. The campground offers full-service sites as well as power and water sites, private tenting on grass or gravel. Facilities include a dumping station, heated and clean washrooms, hot showers, laundry and picnic tables and fire pits at all sites. There is also a small store with RV supplies and peddle go-karts for rent.
New Old Town Cottages & RV Park
The New Old Town Campground offers RV and tent camping close to downtown Rocky Mountain House with over 50 fully-serviced, pull through and amp sites. Amenities include a bath house with flush toilets and showers, fire rings, firewood (provided) and picnic tables. Eight cottages are also available for rent.
